Savage 29/4/2003 (Asthma)
I
started coming to see Qing about 10 years ago after numerous attempts
to try and rid myself of asthma. My Mother had seen her number in
the "Green Paper" and thought acupuncture would be worth
a try.
I
saw Qing regularly for 18 months and noticed an improvement in my
breathing and exercising very soon after starting the treatment.
About
two years after starting the acupuncture, I had a wonderful surprise.
For years I had dreamt of being a pilot but thought the asthma would
stop me, but 2 years later I successfully passed a RAF medical,
perhaps the most stringent medical available. Now I am a commercial
pilot flying every day, and subjected to rigorous medicals once
a year. If it had not been for Qing I'm sure that I would not have
been given the chance to fulfill my dream. My asthma has still not
returned 10 years later.

Dear Qing
Once again I am in your debt.
I had come to expect that when the Summer came, along came my Hay
fever and with it so did the Asthma attacks, and then I would be
on the phone to you asking for help.
After 4 or 5 acupuncture sessions with yourself, my breathing would
drastically improve and my hay fever would almost disappear.
This relief from Hay fever and Asthma would really kick off my Summer,
and I could go out and enjoy the weather, but this time I am thanking
you in the middle of winter.
I took everyone 's advice and gave up smoking in September 2004
but unfortunately I gave up all exercising including my Martial
Arts at the same time.
This was a big mistake, I put on over 2 stone in weight and began
to struggle with my breathing. Other friends of mine who had also
given smoking all said that after about a year my body would adjust
and settle down, including clearing any catarrh left in the body
and losing some of the gained weight.
This never happened and I found my breathing getting increasingly
worse even though I was watching what I was eating and losing weight.
I tried to start Kickboxing gain to see if getting fit would sort
my breathing out but I found that as soon as I tried to train my
breathing would seize up, and it got to the point where even using
my inhaler would not release my breathing.
This came to a panicky end over the Christmas Holiday week when
my lungs did not seem to work at all and I phoned you hoping that
you could see me or else I was heading for Casualty.
Thankfully you agreed to see me and gave me some instant release
for my breathing with the acupuncture , and the seeds in my ear
seemed to ease it for the days in between my sessions with you.
I have now had six acupuncture sessions with you and I have started
a new Circuit Training Club as well as Kickboxing Club, in which
I am able to do a fair bit of training myself, without collapsing
due to lack of oxygen.
I still use my inhaler once just before I train or teach, but that
is the only time I use it now and I know that with another couple
of sessions with you and I will not need my inhaler at all, or at
least not until the Summer arrives again with the Hay fever.
My life is now starting to get back to normal and I am gradually
getting fitter, as well as losing lots of weight now that I can
train again, and I owe all my thanks to you and your magic needles.
I don't know how they work but all I know is they definitely do
work for me.
Once again I thank you for helping me through a difficult time.
Deepest respect and regards.
