Treatment for Back Pain

| I am very pleased to announce that my
problems that the NHS could not provide any treatment for appear
to be almost cured, thanks to the skilful help of Qing and John,
without whom I would probably be out of a job, and either in
a wheelchair, or at least using a walking aid of some description. |
Whilst not completely over some of the
effects of the problem that has bothered me for the past 16
months, Qing and John have given me a new lease of life in respect
of mobility, and almost complete relief from the excruciating
pain that has for so long been at times, almost
unbearable. |
I cannot thank Qing and John enough
for the friendly and helpful way in which they have helped me
on the way to a (hopefully) full recovery, and I have absolutely
no hesitation in recommending a visit to these two wonderful
people, as I am sure that whatever the problem, the chances
are, that a lot of benefit would be gained after even only a
couple of
sessions. |

| I had suffered from a bad back for 9
or 10 months before I found my way here. I had tried a lot of
conventional treatments, including steroid injections and physiotherapy.
Combined with chiropractic treatment, the treatment I have received
here means that I can now live a more or less normal life. I
can now get through the day without having to lie down most
of the time. I have been coming to the clinic regularly for
about 5 months now and would recommend it to anybody. The care
and compassion I have received is fantastic. Basically - it
works. |

I
came to see Qing 10 years ago, for acupuncture treatment of
my bad back. I had a bad injury in 1976, when I first met
Qing I was on two crutches, the pain on my back , hip &
my legs was so bad, I couldn't do anything include look after
myself. Qing gave me acupuncture, cupping and ultra sound
treatment and after a period of time, I gradually got better.
I was told that I would be in a wheelchair in five years,
well I am not, I now lead a very active life, Qing has
given me the best present! Now I just come to see Qing for
a MOT when I need it.

| I first went to the Centre for Chinese Medicine for an ongoing
shoulder complaint. After 18 months of on/off pain I found tablets
no longer working. I phoned and made and appointment with doctor
Zhang. After one session it felt as though I never had a problem. |
| About six weeks later I hurt my back at work lifting something
heavy. After being sent home I couldn't move and it brought
tears to my eyes. I had to crawl to the telephone and phone
Dr Zhang to see if she could help me. When I saw her I couldn't
even sit down properly. After an hour or so I walked out with
very little back pain and I was back at work within 2 days.
so what does it invlove - a very skilled person with a number
of small needles placed in certain areas of the body. They are
then connected to a machine which causes the muscles to pulse
in the affected area and then heat is also put through the needles
to warm the muscles. To finish the treatment off ultrasound
is used to relax the inflamed area. |
| I would certainly recommend it to anyone with any muscular
problem. No doubt I will be seeing Dr Zhang in the future with
other problems. |

| When I came to Qing I could hardly walk and sitting for even
a short while was extremely painful. I have been on strong painkillers
and physiotherapies for the last six months and continually
having time of work. I first came to see Qing after Christmas
, very apprehensive but pain was so bad I said I would try anything
to relieve it. Qing was so calming and reassuring on my first
visit , my husband had to stay to keep me calm. I was so shocked
that the needles didn't hurt. It took a few weeks to start to
relieve my pain. I am now back at work and starting to enjoy
life again and have start slowly to return to swimming and gentle
exercises. |
| Qing has given me back my quality of life and my self-esteem.
Qing 's personally and professionals was outstanding, her caring
way and calming manner is truly amazing. Anyone on as much pain
as I was I truly recommend. |
