Case History
|
| A lady working in hospital suffered from Migraine for many
years. It got worse when she started her menopause. She had
throbbing pain in her head almost three or four times a week.
She also had hot flushes , night sweater and she felt very tired
to cope with work and running the home. She tried different
pain-killer, but only worked for a little while, which made
her life difficult. She came to my Clinic for help. I gave her
acupuncture, using local points to clear her pain and also using
general point to calm her Liver Yang, nourish her Kidney Yin.
She felt much better after the first session of her treatment.
I also gave her herbal tablets to nourish her kidney Yin, clear
her Liver Yang and fire. After a short period of treatment,
her Migraine is totally gone. Hot flushes and other menopause
symptoms also disappeared, even without HRT. She was very happy
with our help. |

Testimonial
|
| I began treatment with Qing on 6th February 2006, principally
for severe and frequent migraine attacks throughout 11 years.
These were accompanied by 24 to 36 hours of vomiting, requiring
a further 48 hours or more before retaining solid food and fully
recovering clearly , this was very weakening and disruptive
of both my professional and private life. I had undergone a
range of conventional western medicine treatment without any
improvement and was feeling quite desperate. |
| I considered acupuncture as a last result but approached it
with an open mind as I certainly had nothing to lose. Also ,
I was recommended to the Chinese Medicine centre by a couple
of close friends, one of whom is a midwife and the other a G.P
locally. They were impressed by Qing 's successes with some
of their own patients suffering from a variety of conditions |
| Since my first appointment with Qing I have not suffered any
further migraine attacks and rarely even an average head-ache.
I also now have much more energy and very rarely experience
any menopausal symptoms which had also been a problem for the
last 10 years. |
| The migraine attacks were triggered mainly by painful spondilitis
in my neck and shoulders. This condition has also improved since
acupuncture treatment; whereas Weston medicine had failed. |
| Qing is now treating my lower back problems, which have been
severe for the last 14 years, with accompanying nerve damage
(neuropathy) in my legs and feet. Whilst living in Leicestershire.
I was treated with acupuncture for these conditions some 11
years ago but without any success. I understand that successful
treatment of such long-standing and complex problems is extremely
difficult to achieve. However, my hips are now less painful
and more mobile which represents considerable progress which
I did not dare to anticipate. |
| Many thanks and warmest wishes from a very grateful patient |

(Migraine and PMT)
|
| I suffer severe migraine and PMT for many years. After first
acupuncture treatment , the migraine stopped and I did not have
another until I misses am appointment! The PMT is also much
better, (who had to put up with my temper every month) I also
felt so much better by myself! Plenty energy, much happier . |
| I would definitely recommend it to everyone suffering from
migraine and PMT. I only wish I had it earlier. |
